Caddx GM1 V2 Gimbal is a small single-axis gimbal suitable for cameras from the Walksnail Avatar and Ascent systems with a mounting spacing of 19mm. It stabilizes the pitch axis in the range of ±120° with an accuracy of ±0,005° and is suitable for FPV planes, RC cars and drones. The gimbal automatically detects mounting in normal and inverted orientation and attaches to the model using the included vibration dampers.
It can be controlled by direct head tracking connection via UART, S.BUS and CRSF protocols, PWM channels or via Mavlink; in this order the methods also have priority. UART control is supported by INAV, Mavlink works only with PX4 and ArduPilot firmware. Channel mapping, calibration and firmware updates are handled by the Caddx PC Tool software. The gimbal is powered by 9-25,2V, i.e. 3-6S LiPo.
