Z-1Pro Gimbal is a compact 3-axis gimbal with an integrated 4K camera that is also suitable for use in low-light conditions. The camera is intended primarily for use on advanced drones running ArduPilot or PX4 firmware. The camera with gimbal weighs 100g, so it can be mounted even on smaller 7" drones. It can be powered with a voltage in the range of 10–26.4V. It can be installed with the camera facing down or up as needed.
The camera uses an ultra-starlight visible-light sensor with a resolution of 4.09MP. The AI-ISP imaging engine delivers full-color images even at night in poor lighting, and the AI-HDR function preserves detail in both highlights and shadows in high-contrast scenes.
Stabilization is provided by a 3-axis non-orthogonal mechanical structure with two temperature-controlled IMU sensors and AHRS fusion of data from the carrier (drone). Angular accuracy reaches ±0.01°.
The Z-1Pro gimbal can be controlled via an Ethernet connection, UART or S.BUS. It supports both a private protocol and the MAVLink protocol, which is used in combination with ArduPilot and PX4 autopilots. Video is streamed over RTSP, recordings are saved to a microSD card (U3/V30) with a capacity of up to 256GB, and a Micro HDMI output is also available. The image can be viewed and controlled using Dragonfly software, which also allows photos and videos to be downloaded online; for full integration with open-source autopilots, the XF-QGC software is used.
The package also includes a kit for active cooling of the gimbal unit.
