Walksnail Ascent Goggles are box-type FPV goggles for digital image transmission Walksnail Ascent.
Walksnail Ascent is an HD system mainly suitable for beginner and recreational pilots looking for a cost-effective alternative to analog video transmission. Ascent is a standalone system and is not compatible with the Walksnail Avatar system. It allows transmission in 720p / 120fps mode for lower latency (recommended) and 1080p / 60fps for higher image quality. The system is particularly suitable for shorter distance flights, where it offers a significantly cleaner and more stable image compared to analog. Ascent supports OSD for Betaflight and INAV. There are 3 standard channels and up to 8 channels in debug mode.
The goggles use a single 4.5" LCD display with Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 60 fps, providing an impressive FOV of 75°. Removable lenses can be placed in front of the display to help compensate for any vision defects. The goggles have an integrated receiver for Ascent video transmission and two integrated directional LHCP antennas with a gain of 4.9 dBi. Digital images can be recorded to an SD card of up to 256 GB. The goggles are powered via a standard coaxial DC connector 5.5/2.1 mm with a voltage of 6–25.2 V (2–6S).
