Walksnail Avatar GT2 Kit

Walksnail Avatar GT2 Kit is a combination of a camera, video transmitter, and antennas for the digital Walksnail Avatar system. The system enables video transmission in full HD (1080p) or HD (720p) quality with a latency of 22 ms. The Walksnail Avatar system supports Canvas mode, allowing a full OSD to be rendered in the image.

The GT2 video transmitter features a dynamically adjustable output power of up to 2 W. In addition to a fixed channel, it also supports frequency hopping mode—when interference is detected, the system automatically switches to a cleaner channel within milliseconds. The built-in fan actively cools the transmitter during longer flights and, together with optimized algorithms, reduces power consumption by more than 30% compared to the previous generation. The transmitter has mounting holes with a pitch of 25.5 × 25.5 mm and 20 × 20 mm. The antenna with LHCP polarization connects via an MMCX connector. Input voltage is 11.1–25.2 V (3–6S). The total weight of the kit without the antenna is 52 g.

The kit includes a Avatar Pro camera sized Micro (19 × 19 mm) equipped with a Sony Starvis II 1/1.8" sensor. This camera is suitable for use in poor lighting conditions. The camera is connected to the video transmitter with a 140 mm cable. The transmitter has a slot for an SD card up to 256 GB and a USB-C connector for direct connection to a computer.
