Walksnail Ascent VRX is a standalone receiver for the Walksnail Ascent digital video transmission system.
Walksnail Ascent is an HD system intended primarily for beginner and recreational pilots looking for a cost-effective alternative to analog video transmission. Ascent is a standalone system and is not compatible with the Walksnail Avatar system. It supports transmission modes 720p / 120fps for lower latency (recommended) and 1080p / 60fps for higher image quality. The system is intended mainly for shorter-range flights, where it offers a much cleaner and more stable image than analog. Ascent supports OSD for Betaflight and INAV. There are 3 standard channels available and up to 8 channels in debug mode.
Walksnail Ascent FPV VRX is a digital receiver with an HDMI output, so it can be connected to FPV goggles or a monitor. The receiver is equipped with two LHCP antennas. It features a microSD card slot and allows recording of the received video. Power is supplied via a standard coaxial DC connector in the range of 7.4–25.2V, so it can be powered from a 2–6S battery.
