Walksnail Ascent VRX is a standalone receiver for the Walksnail Ascent digital video transmission system.
Walksnail Ascent is an HD system primarily suitable for beginner and recreational pilots seeking an affordable alternative to analog video transmission. Ascent is a standalone system and is not compatible with the Walksnail Avatar system. It allows transmission in modes of 720p / 120fps for lower latency (recommended) and 1080p / 60fps for higher image quality. The system is mainly suitable for shorter flights, offering a significantly clearer and more stable image compared to analog. Ascent supports OSD for both Betaflight and INAV. There are 3 standard channels and up to 8 channels in debug mode.
Walksnail Ascent FPV VRX is a digital receiver with an HDMI output, allowing it to connect to FPV goggles or a monitor. The receiver is equipped with two LHCP polarized antennas. It has a microSD card slot and allows recording of received images. Power is provided by a standard coaxial DC connector in the range of 7.4–25.2V, enabling it to be powered by a 2–6S battery.
