VAS Victory Stubby is a small omnidirectional circularly polarized antenna for the 5.8GHz band with a gain of 1.9dBic. It is available in LHCP with RP-SMA connector and RHCP with SMA connector variants. Victory Stubby is suitable for the receiving side on goggles.
The radiator consists of phase-driven elements derived from the Minion and Ion antennas, thanks to which the antenna achieves an axial ratio of 0.96. The axial ratio indicates how circular the radiated wave is; a value close to 1 means lower losses between transmitter and receiver and better suppression of reflections from terrain and obstacles. It operates in the 5550-6100MHz range, covering all commonly used FPV bands.
The housing is made of hard radio-wave-transparent plastic and protects the radiator during crashes. The antenna is manufactured in the USA and complies with NDAA, a U.S. standard for components deployed in the public sector.
