Radiomaster TX16S MK3 is a top-tier RC transmitter, suitable even for the most demanding pilots. The main advantage of the TX16S MK3 is its large 5" touchscreen and dual-band Gemini ELRS module, which ensures maximum reliability of RC transmission.

The transmitter uses large V6 hall gimbals with four bearings, which provide smooth operation, high precision, and long service life. The gimbals can be mechanically fine-tuned, including the travel range and spring tension. Around the gimbals are RGB LED rings that can be controlled using LUA scripts. For additional model control, there are 8 switches, 2 rotary dials, 2 sliders, and one six-position channel controlled by buttons with adjustable LED backlighting. Radio setup is the same as with other Radiomaster models, using 6 buttons and a rotary wheel.

At first glance, the aforementioned 5" IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 480×800 pixels stands out. Thanks to the high brightness and wide viewing angle, the display is easy to read even outdoors in sunlight. Thanks to the powerful STM32H7 processor, the transmitter has a fast response. The TX16S MK3 has internal memory, which can be expanded with a microSD card. The radio uses fully configurable EdgeTX firmware (successor to OpenTX).

For future expansion, the transmitter is equipped with an integrated microphone. The transmitter also includes a built-in gyro. The built-in gyroscope with TiltX/TiltY functions unlocks advanced control options – it allows you to trigger switches, control cameras (pan/tilt), or activate telemetry messages by simply tilting the transmitter.

The internal ELRS transmission module uses two LR11211 chips, each of which can transmit at 2.4GHz or 868/915MHz with up to 1W of power. The module can operate in Gemini mode on 2.4GHz or 915MHz, or in XROSSBAND mode, where one transmitting chip transmits at 2.4GHz and the other at 868/915MHz (the receiver must also support this function). The Radiomaster TX16S MK3 thus provides high resistance to interference. At the same time, it can also be used with standard ELRS receivers that work with a single antenna on one frequency. The radio is equipped with two antennas – one is located on the top side of the radio in the antenna housing and the other in the plastic handle. The module is actively cooled by a fan.

On the back of the transmitter there is a standard JR bay for possible expansion with an external transmission module. The TX16S MK3 is powered by two 18650 Li-Ion cells or a 2S LiPo battery. Battery charging is handled via the USB-C connector, which is also used for simulator connection and data transfer to the radio memory. Thanks to the ELRS module, simulator connection is also possible wirelessly via Bluetooth.

The transmitter was returned within the 14-day period. The protective film is applied; otherwise, no signs of wear.
