ToolkitRC Q8AC is a four-channel charger with an integrated power supply, built into a wheeled carrying case. It is suitable for pilots who need to charge multiple large 1-8S LiPo and LiHV batteries simultaneously in the field — typically for heavier FPV drones and large RC models. It is powered directly from 100-240V AC mains, so no external power supply is needed. Each of the four channels charges at up to 500W and 20A, for a total of up to 2000W (maximum mains power input is 2200W). In synchronous mode (“Synchronous mode"), two channels can be combined to charge one battery at up to 40A and 1000W.

Batteries connect via four XT90 connectors. Under the case lid are two battery storage compartments measuring 218x168x188mm, accommodating up to four high-capacity 8S batteries. The foam-padded lid, telescopic handle and quiet wheels make it easy to transport the charger and batteries to the airfield or into the field. In addition to charging, the charger supports discharging (up to 3A and 30W per channel), charging to storage voltage (“storage"), balancing at up to 2000mA, and measuring the internal resistance of individual cells. End voltages for charging, discharging and storage are adjustable. The automatic charging resume function after battery replacement speeds up charging multiple packs in succession.

Controls consist of two sets of buttons and two colour 2.8" IPS displays with a resolution of 320x240px, showing the voltage and internal resistance of individual cells, power, current, charged capacity and charger temperature. There are also two USB-A and two USB-C fast-charging outputs up to 65W (PD via USB-C only, plus QC, PPS, AFC, FCP, SCP, PE and SFCP) for a phone, tablet or goggles. Firmware is also updated via USB-C. Safety limits for temperature, time and charged capacity can be set. The charger in its case measures 610x400x255mm and weighs 13kg. The manufacturer does not list XT90 charging cables as included.

Important warning: charging must always be supervised, and the battery type and charging current must be set according to the connected battery. An incorrectly selected battery type may damage the battery and charger and cause a fire.
