ToolkitRC B50 Heated Battery Bag

ToolkitRC B50 is a heated battery bag suitable for flying in winter and cold weather. It warms LiPo batteries to the set operating temperature, allowing the cells to deliver full power even in freezing conditions. The bag holds up to 20 6S 1000mAh batteries.

The bag measures 310x240x115mm and weighs 980g. It is divided into a heated compartment and a storage compartment, with a mesh pocket in the lid for cables and small accessories. It can be carried by the handle and has D-rings on the sides for a shoulder strap. The inner lining is made entirely of flame-retardant material. The heating element is made of silicone rubber with nickel alloy resistance wire.

The heating is controlled by a separate controller with a 1.54" IPS display, showing the current and set temperature, input voltage and cut-off voltage. The temperature can be set from 25-55°C in 0.1°C increments and is monitored in real time by the built-in sensor. Heating power is up to 50W (full power at input voltage from 12V), so batteries warm up quickly even in severe frost. The controller also has two inputs for optional external DS18B20 temperature sensors (not included) to measure the temperature at a specific location.

It is powered via an XT60 connector with 6-28V, typically from a 2-6S LiPo or Li-ion battery, so it does not require mains power and works directly at the field. The adjustable cut-off voltage („CUT OFF") protects the power battery from over-discharge — when the voltage drops below the set value, the heater will not start, an audible alarm sounds and the controller switches off after 60 seconds. After each power-on, the cut-off voltage is set to 0.5V below the current input voltage, so we recommend checking it and setting it to a safe value (approximately 3.5V per cell for LiPo). The controller features current, short-circuit, temperature and voltage protection.

The controller also has a 20W USB-C output with PD3.0 and QC3.0 fast charging for charging a phone, action camera or other devices — outside winter, it can also serve as a power bank. The controller firmware can be updated via USB.

Important notice: The bag must be supervised while heating and must not be used in hot, humid or flammable environments. Select the temperature according to the batteries to prevent overheating. We recommend disconnecting the controller power supply after switching it off.
