Skystars F7+AM60 is a powerful stack for freestyle and racing drones. The flight controller with a modern F7 processor and gyro ICM42688P has 16MB of memory for blackbox and 5V/3A and 10V/3A BEC. The unit also features a connector for DJI FPV and OSD, making it convenient for use on drones with digital and analog video transmission. The pads for connecting LEDs in the corners of the unit are also a nice touch. An integrated barometer for altitude measurement is also useful.
The AM60 regulator uses 32-bit firmware AlkaMotors AM_32, which is regarded by many as the best current firmware for regulators. The foundation of the regulator is a 6-layer PCB made of 3oz copper. This allows the regulator to handle high currents. Large 5x6mm 40V Toshiba MOSFETs are used. For better cooling, the regulator is equipped with an aluminum heatsink. The package also includes a capacitor that must be connected to the battery leads on the ESC.
