Sequre WiFi-Link is a wireless configurator for ESCs running ESCape32 firmware. It is used to adjust ESC parameters and upload new firmware directly from a mobile phone via WiFi, without a computer or USB-TTL adapter.
ESCape32 is open-source firmware for 32-bit brushless (BLDC) motor ESCs. It is used, among others, by Sequre SQESC series ESCs, such as the SQESC 2670, 12200, 14200, or 20180. The module uses the ESCape32 Wi-Fi Link configurator: it creates its own WiFi network that a phone, tablet, or laptop connects to, and configuration is then performed in a web browser. Parameter changes take effect in real time, and the ESC can also be reflashed with a newer firmware version in the same way. RTTTL melodies are automatically converted to the firmware's native format when uploaded. Only one device can be connected at a time.
The board measures 22x23mm. It is based on a module with an ESP32-C3 chip, USB-C connector, and BOOT and RST buttons. It connects to the ESC via a three-pin connector with -, +, and S pins; the board is marked with an input range of 5-35V. Thanks to its compact size, it easily fits in a field bag and is especially suitable for quick configuration changes in the field.
Important notice: WiFi-Link is suitable only for ESCs running ESCape32 firmware. Sequre ESC-Link is intended for ESCs running AM32 or BLHeli_32 firmware.
