Sequre 28120 ESCape32 + BEC 10A is a powerful standalone ESC for a single motor, suitable for larger aircraft models, long-range drones and cinelifters. The ESC supports 2-8S LiPo batteries and handles continuous current up to 120A. Compared to the version with AM32 firmware, it features ESCape32 firmware and an integrated BEC 10A.
For good heat dissipation, the ESC is equipped with an aluminium heatsink on both sides. Electrolytic capacitors are already installed on the ESC, so there is no need to add external ones, making installation easier. The ESC comes as a complete set. The 14AWG power wires are terminated with an XT60 connector, and the 14AWG (113mm) motor wires with 4mm bullet connectors. The ESC itself has compact dimensions of 50x20x17mm; the complete set with BEC and wires weighs 52 grams.
ESCape32 is open-source firmware for 32-bit ESCs, focused on simplicity and smooth, efficient motor operation. It is designed for rapid acceleration from standstill to full throttle and reliable direction changes. It supports DShot 300/600/1200 including bidirectional DShot, extended telemetry and sinusoidal motor startup. It also supports proportional braking and adjustable “drag brake”, which brakes the motor when reducing throttle.
The ESC is based on a 32-bit STM32G071 microprocessor. Settings are configured wirelessly from a mobile phone via the WiFi-Link module (sold separately). The ESC supports telemetry and current sensing. The set includes a BEC 10A with adjustable output of 5V, 6V, 7,2V, 8,2V or 12V for powering the receiver and servos. For proper BEC operation, the input voltage must be higher than its output voltage.
