Radiomaster Pocket ELRS - unfolded

Radiomaster Pocket is a small radio with a great price/performance ratio. It is suitable for beginner pilots or those looking for a compact and small radio. Due to its small size, the transmitter is also suitable for younger pilots. The transmitter uses hall gimbals with removable ends for easy transport. They can be stored at the side of the radio. The transmitting antenna is foldable, taking up minimal space during transport.

Instead of conventional switches, the radio is equipped with toggle switches and buttons, which are again more compact and also more durable. All information about the transmitter's status is displayed on an LCD monochrome screen. Setting up the radio is the same as with other Radiomaster models using 6 buttons and a rotary knob. The radio uses a fully adjustable firmware EdgeTX. The Radiomaster Pocket is powered by a pair of 18650 Li-ion batteries (not included), which can be charged via the bottom USB-C connector. The USB connector on the top is used for connecting to a PC for simulator flying. On the back of the transmitter is a standard small Nano bay for potential expansion with an external transmission module. From the back of the transmitter, the stiffness of the gimbals can be easily adjusted.

A major advantage of the radio is the integrated ELRS module with a power of up to 250mW and a refresh rate of up to 1kHz. ExpressLRS (shortened ELRS) is an open source project, and the transmitting and receiving modules are produced by multiple manufacturers. ELRS is currently one of the most advanced RC transmissions. It offers a reliable link over long distances, high refresh rates, adjustable power, updates via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, and more. ELRS at 2.4GHz surpasses conventional RC systems in all aspects while maintaining short antennas. Bluetooth is especially appreciated by simulator enthusiasts, as it allows wireless connection to a PC.
