Radiomaster Boxer ELRS - unboxed

Radiomaster Boxer is a quality radio suitable for both beginners and top-level pilots. Boxer is a great combination of size, comfort, and features. Radiomaster Boxer uses large hall gimbals like its bigger sibling the TX16. For additional model control, there are 4 switches, 2 rotary dials, 2 buttons and one six-position channel controlled by buttons. Radio setup is the same as on other Radiomaster models using 6 buttons and a rotary wheel. The radio uses fully customizable EdgeTX firmware (successor to OpenTX). It also comes with a carrying case included in the package.

A major advantage of the radio is the integrated ELRS module with output power up to 1W and refresh rate up to 1kHz. ExpressLRS (shortened to ELRS) is an open source project and transmitter and receiver modules are produced by multiple manufacturers. ELRS is currently one of the most advanced RC links. It offers a reliable long-range link, high refresh rate, adjustable power, update via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, and more. ELRS at 2.4GHz outperforms traditional RC systems in every respect while keeping short antennas. Bluetooth will be especially appreciated by simulator users, as it allows wireless connection to a PC. The internal module is actively cooled by an internal fan. The antenna is flexible and detachable. On the back of the transmitter there is a standard large JR bay for possible expansion with an external transmitter module. The radio also includes a holder made of durable fabric. The radio is easy to carry while still remaining compact for transport. 

Boxer is powered by a 2S battery. The package includes a bay for a pair of 18650 Li-ion batteries. However, larger 2S batteries can also be used for longer endurance. The battery is charged via a USB-C connector.

The radio was returned within the 14-day return period. It has a protective glass applied, otherwise it shows no signs of use.
