Pilotix Rocky5 is a 5" frame in an X configuration with a diagonal motor spacing of 225 mm. The X-arm configuration gives the drone excellent maneuverability and durability. The frame is suitable for freestyle drones when using 5" propellers.
Sensitive electronics inside the drone are covered by 3D-printed plastic side panels, which protect them from dirt. The frame is cut from T300 carbon and is designed for cameras with a size of 19 mm (Micro). The camera is mounted in a 3D-printed holder. The arms are 5 mm thick. The bottom, middle, and top plates are milled from 2 mm thick carbon. The flight controller and ESC are mounted with a 30,5 x 30,5 mm (M3) pattern. There is 22 mm of vertical space for the stack between the middle and top plates. The video transmitter has mounting holes for 25 x 25 mm and 20 x 20 mm (M2). The motors have mounting holes for 16mm (M3).
