Pilotix PT8 V2 is a carbon frame suitable for building an 8" long-range quadcopter. The frame has an X arm configuration, which gives the frame high rigidity and durability.
The frame is designed for motors with mounting holes 19 mm M3 and propellers up to 8". The frame has a diagonal motor distance of 360 mm and arms made of 6 mm thick carbon. The bottom plate is made of 3 mm carbon, the middle plate is made of 2 mm carbon and the top plate is made of 2 mm carbon. Mounting holes for the stack are prepared with a spacing of 30,5 x 30,5 mm M3 and 20 x 20 mm M2. The FPV camera is mounted in a 3D printed holder that slides onto the standoffs. The frame includes a 3D printed holder for mounting a Micro-sized camera. There is enough space between the standoffs for larger cameras, including DJI O4 Pro. In the rear part of the drone there is space for mounting the video transmitter. Mounting holes for the video transmitter are prepared with a spacing of 30,5 × 30,5 mm M3, 25,5 x 25,5 mm M2 and 20 × 20 mm M2. The frame weight is 243 g.
