Phynan Vision FT652 is a compact budget thermal camera with an AI box designed for integration into smaller drones with analog image transmission. The camera uses an uncooled Vanadium Oxide sensor with a resolution of 256×192 pixels and a lens with a focal length of 4 mm. It offers a field of view of 62.3° diagonally. The camera uses the thermal palette "white hot", where warmer areas appear white.
The camera's output is a standard analog video signal CVBS (PAL), which can be directly connected to an analog video transmitter. The camera is powered by a voltage range of 9–24 V.
The camera supports control and configuration via UART, allowing settings for contrast, brightness, pseudo-colors, shutter mode, or turning on the Hot Tracking feature. The manufacturer defines the command structure for advanced integration into control units (see manual).
The camera has a width of 19.5 mm and M2 threads on the sides, making it compatible with mounts for standard analog cameras of Micro size. The camera is connected to the AI box via MIPI cable.
The cameras are intended for direct installation. They are supplied in simple technical packaging without designer boxes.
