OddityRC F405 Mini AM32 40A is an affordable stack with an M2 mounting hole spacing of 20x20mm. The stack combines a flight controller and ESC, suitable mainly for smaller 3-4" freestyle drones powered by 3-6S LiPo batteries.
The flight controller uses a STM32F405 processor and ICM42688P gyroscope. There is a 5V/2A and 9V/2A BEC, OSD chip for analog video, SPL06 barometer for altitude measurement, and 16MB memory for blackbox. For connecting peripherals, there are 5 UARTs, I2C bus, and two PINIO pads available.
The ESC can handle current up to 40A. It uses modern firmware AM32, allowing for bidirectional DShot support, telemetry, and adjustable output PWM frequency. The ESC also includes a current sensor.
Firmware updates cannot be performed online, a local firmware file must be uploaded, which can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website here or Betaflight 2026.1.20 here.
