NewBeeDrone Hummingbird 305 ESC 80A 8S AM32

NewBeeDrone Hummingbird 305 ESC 80A 8S AM32 is a powerful 4-in-1 ESC suitable for drones from 5" freestyle to large 7" and 10" long-range drones. The ESC supports 3-8S LiPo batteries and features standard 30,5x30,5 mm M3 mounting.

The ESC is built on a 6-layer PCB with 3 oz copper, blind vias and gold plating, improving high-current handling and heat dissipation. It is protected against voltage spikes by three TVS diodes. The included 1000uF electrolytic capacitor must be connected to the ESC. Each corner of the board also features separate + and - pads for additional capacitors, making it significantly easier to connect multiple capacitors on 7" and 10" drones without soldering them to a single power pad. The board is factory-coated with a protective nano coating.

The motor and power pads are double-sided: solder is applied to both the top and bottom pad, the wire is inserted into the semicircular opening between them and soldered in place. This connection provides good conductivity and mechanical strength.

The ESC uses an AT32F421 processor with an integrated MOSFET driver („gate driver“) and open-source AM32 firmware. It is equipped with a current sensor, the output of which is routed to the connector. It connects to the flight controller via an 8-pin JST-SH1.0 connector.
