MicoAir MG-A01 is a GPS module that integrates a special version of the receiving chip U-Blox M10, which operates at a higher frequency than the regular version. This allows the GPS module to provide a 10Hz refresh rate (compared to the normal 5Hz). The MG-A01 is also equipped with a compass QMC5883L. The M10 chip supports all L1 GNSS signals (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou) and can receive up to 32 satellites. The GPS module is equipped with a patch antenna of size 25x25x4mm for good reception.
The status of the GPS module is indicated by an LED. The blue LED is lit when switched on and flashes when the satellites are loaded (3D fix).
