Matek H7A3 Wing is a powerful flight controller designed primarily for airplanes, VTOLs, and other advanced models that require a large number of outputs, accurate measurements, and reliable performance. The board supports 3–6S LiPo input and runs on Ardupilot firmware. At its core is the H7A3 processor combined with an ICM42688P gyro and a SPL06-001 barometer for altitude sensing. For analog video, it features an OSD chip and a MicroSD slot for data logging.
The unit is composed of four boards – the main flight controller, two cover boards, and an external USB connector with buzzer. Mounting holes with a 30.5x30.5mm spacing make installation straightforward.
The controller provides 11 PWM outputs, 6 UARTs, 1 I2C bus, 1 CAN port, and 4 ADC inputs. It includes a 5V@2.5A BEC for powering receivers, GPS, and other electronics, a switchable 9/12V@2A BEC for powering video transmitters, and a servo BEC with adjustable voltage 5/6/7.2V and up to 8A output. For easier peripheral connections, a 2.54mm pin header can be soldered onto the board (pins are not pre-installed).
The flight controller has an integrated PDB for power distribution with a digital voltage and current sensor that communicates with the controller via the I2C bus. The sensor measures up to 100A continuous and 164A peak, with accuracy of ±0.1% for voltage and ±2% for current. Calibration of the voltage and current sensor is not required.
