KST X06 V6.0 is an ultra-light micro servo weighing 6g and only 7mm thick. The servo is suitable for gliders (hand-launch gliders, “discus launch gliders”) with a wingspan of around 1m and other small gliders. It has standard mounting tabs, making it especially suitable for installation in the fuselage and anywhere the servo is mounted upright.
It is powered by a coreless motor. The hardened steel gears are complemented by a ball bearing, while the aluminium alloy case dissipates heat efficiently. Thanks to its all-metal construction, the servo does not flex under load like servos with plastic gear mechanisms, enabling precise model setup. It operates on 3.8-8.4V, corresponding to a 1S to 2S LiPo battery. At 8.4V, it delivers 1.8kg-cm of torque and a speed of 0.07s/60°.
Version V6.0 features a new control chip for higher precision and is fully programmable. The default travel is 120° (±60° with a 1000-2000uS signal). The KST Tool #5 programming card (sold separately) allows adjustment of the centre position, endpoints, rotation direction and smooth startup (“soft start”).
