KST Programming Card #5 is a programmer suitable for KST V6.0 and V8.0 servos, allowing you to configure the servo without a computer. It is operated using a rotary knob and buttons; LEDs and a buzzer indicate the settings status.
The card sets the servo center (neutral) and both endpoints – the travel corresponding to 1000µs and 2000µs signals. It can also reverse the rotation direction (CW/CCW) and enable or disable the servo Soft Start function. The Reset button restarts only the card itself and does not erase the saved servo settings.
The card has no built-in power supply. It is powered by an external 5-9V source via the built-in XT60 connector; the power source and power cable are not included. The servo connects to the servo output marked - + S (the signal wire is usually orange or white).
Important notice: The card supports only servos with a 1520µs center. For narrow-band servos (760µs), use card #2 or #3. The source voltage passes directly to the servo, so it must be selected according to the power supply range of the programmed servo.
