KST HS08A V6.0 is a powerful micro servo only 8mm thick, suitable for competition gliders. Its dimensions are similar to the KST X08 series, while its performance rivals the KST X10 Mini servo. The HS08 series is available in two mounting tab versions for installation in both wings and fuselages.
The case is made of 7075 aluminum alloy and dissipates heat effectively. It is powered by a coreless motor, with hardened steel gears supported by two ball bearings. The servo weighs 11g. It operates within a 3,8-8,4V voltage range, corresponding to a 1S to 2S LiPo battery. At 8,4V, it delivers 6kg-cm of torque and a speed of 0,09s/60°.
The default travel is 120° (±60° at a 1000-2000uS signal). The KST Tool #5 programming card (sold separately) allows adjustment of the center position, endpoints, rotation direction, and smooth startup (“soft start”).
