KST CM4315MG is a powerful standard-size servo with IP65 protection, suitable for steering 1:10 scale RC crawlers and 1:7 and 1:8 scale monster trucks and buggies. At 8,4V, it delivers 43kg-cm of torque.
It is powered by a fast-response coreless motor; at 8,4V, the servo rotates 60° in 0,15s. The hardened steel gears are complemented by two ball bearings, while the case is made of aluminium alloy. IP65 protection means resistance to dust and water jets, so mud, dust and rain are not a problem for the servo. The servo weighs 70g. It operates within a 4,8-8,4V voltage range, from 4S NiMH to 2S LiPo. The output shaft has 25T splines and a diameter of 6mm.
The default travel is 100° (±50° with a 1000-2000uS signal). Smooth start (“soft start”) is programmable. Stall current reaches up to 5,05A, so we recommend powering the servo with a sufficiently rated BEC.
