Kavan CA Activator Pro 200ml

Activator/accelerator for cyanoacrylate instant adhesives in aerosol packaging. It is used to accelerate the curing of CA adhesives under conditions unfavorable for natural curing (reaction with air humidity or moisture in bonded parts), such as dry environments, cold, bonding of inactive materials, or thick glue layers. The product contains a polymerization-activating agent, solvents, and propellant gas (propane/butane). Therefore, it must not be used with materials that are not resistant to organic solvents (e.g., polystyrene foam).

Use: apply the activator from a distance of 20–25 cm to clean and dry surfaces. The optimal working temperature range is +10 °C to +30 °C. You can apply it in one of two basic ways:

• Small parts: Apply activator to one bonding surface and let it dry (it remains active for several hours). Then apply CA glue to the other surface and press the parts together.
• Large parts: Apply CA glue to one surface, press the parts together, and spray the joint with activator.

Suitable for: cyanoacrylate adhesives when bonding materials resistant to organic solvents.

Not suitable for: polystyrene foam and other materials that are not resistant to organic solvents or elevated temperatures (accelerated polymerization may release a considerable amount of heat, heating the bond and surrounding area – the more glue used, the more heat is generated).

Storage: in a tightly closed container, in a cool, dry, and dark place (at +5 °C to +25 °C). Do not expose to temperatures below +2 °C.

Shelf life: when stored properly, we guarantee a shelf life of 1 year in the unopened original packaging with maintained properties.

Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C. Dispose of contents/container at a hazardous waste collection site.
