Antispark is a handy component that prevents sparks when connecting a battery to the quadcopter. These sparks are caused by the rapid charging of the capacitor on the ESC and are especially noticeable with 6S quads. Besides the unpleasant sound, the spark gradually damages the battery connectors, increases their contact resistance, and shortens their lifespan. Antispark is suitable for 3–6" FPV drones.
Antispark is used as standard in iFlight models such as the Nazgul XL5, Nazgul D, and BOB57.
