HGLRC Omni 4.9-6.2GHz - 90mm RHCP/LHCP SMA

HGLRC Omni RHCP/LHCP 90mm SMA is an omnidirectional antenna with RHCP or LHCP polarization (depending on the variant), an SMA connector, and gain up to 5.5dBi for the 4.9-6.2GHz band. With a total length of 90mm and a weight of 8.7g, it is suitable for the video transmitter of 5" freestyle and racing drones, as well as a receiving antenna for FPV goggles. Both variants have an SMA connector.

RHCP polarization is suitable for analog video transmission or HDZero. LHCP polarization is used with DJI and Walksnail digital systems. Antennas with the same polarization must be used on both the transmitting and receiving sides.

The antenna covers the entire 4.9-6.2GHz band, so in addition to standard 5.8GHz channels, it also handles video transmitters with extended bands (L-Band, X-Band) and higher frequencies. The radiation pattern is uniform, so the signal does not fluctuate during sideways passes, turns, or circling around an object. VSWR (voltage standing wave ratio) is no more than 1.8 — a low value means that only a small portion of the power is reflected back from the antenna to the transmitter, reducing both losses and video transmitter heating. The average antenna efficiency is 70%.

The manufacturer tested the antenna in an anechoic chamber at multiple frequencies and subjected it to vibration, drop, operation at temperatures from -40°C to 80°C, and aging tests. The antenna screws directly onto the SMA connector of a video transmitter or FPV goggles.
