HGLRC MY5 is a 5" frame suitable for freestyle as well as for building a durable training rig. Thanks to its excellent price-to-performance ratio, it is a good choice for beginner pilots.
The motor diagonal distance is 225 mm. The thick 5 mm arms give the frame rigidity and good impact resistance. The pointed arm ends also protect the motors in crashes. The frame uses a multi-plate design with a 3 mm middle plate and 2 mm top and bottom plates. The camera is mounted between carbon side plates, which increases the overall rigidity of the frame and protects the camera from damage.
In the center section of the frame there are mounting holes with a 30,5x30,5 mm (M3) hole pattern and space for installing a capacitor. In the rear section there is space for mounting a video transmitter with 25,5×25,5 mm and 20×20 mm (M2) mounting hole patterns. The rear standoffs feature a plastic holder for the SMA connector and RC antenna. Supported motors use 16 mm M3 mounting holes and FPV cameras with a width of 19–20 mm (Micro). The frame weight alone is 140 g.
