HGLRC Draco VRX is a standalone receiver for the ArtLynk digital video transmission system. ArtLynk is an open digital HD video transmission system for FPV. Thanks to a common standard, flight units, FPV goggles, and receiver modules from different manufacturers are mutually compatible. The system includes brands such as BetaFPV, HGLRC, SkyZone, or TJRC. ArtLynk transmits video in 1080p at 60fps with latency of around 60ms and, compared to analog transmission, offers a significantly cleaner and more stable image. It is a cost-effective alternative to DJI and Walksnail for pilots who want HD quality without the closed ecosystem of a single brand.
HGLRC Draco operates on the 5.8GHz band. The VRX module outputs via a standard HDMI connector, so it can be connected to any FPV goggles, monitor, or TV with an HDMI input. The receiver is equipped with two antennas with RP-SMA connectors and diversity reception for a more reliable link. Power is supplied via a classic coaxial DC connector in the range of 7–36V, so it can be powered from a 2–6S battery. The receiver also includes a microSD card slot. Receiver setup is done via a five-way joystick and two buttons. The receiver is actively cooled by a fan. On the bottom there is a threaded mount for a tripod screw for easy attachment of the receiver.
The receiver dimensions are 70×100×20mm, weight 78g.
