Heewing T1 Ranger Pro PNP

Heewing T1 Ranger is a compact FPV airplane with a wingspan of 730 mm and a recommended take-off weight of 350–500 g. The construction is made of durable EPP foam, which is easy to glue together.

At the front, there is a separate space for an FPV camera and analog or digital video transmission. In the middle section, there is space for a battery and a potential flight controller. A suitable battery is 2–3S with a capacity of around 2000–2500 mAh or a 18650 Li-ion pack (not included). For easy transport, the wings are detachable. They are secured with locking mechanisms and connectors inside the fuselage. At the rear, there is a carbon tailboom mounted in a sturdy holder, and the elevator is controlled by a single servo. The connection of the elevator is designed as a slip-on part. To increase the durability of the tail surfaces, some pilots recommend adding a thin carbon strip to the rudder to better withstand contact with branches and bushes.

The T1 Ranger is beginner-friendly. In its basic setup, it flies steadily and "holds its line", controlled only by ailerons and elevator. Due to its low weight, it is more sensitive to wind, making calm conditions ideal for flying.

The model is suitable for both pure manual line-of-sight flying and for equipping with a flight controller and FPV transmission. Thanks to pre-drilled holes and a wooden mounting plate, the flight controller can be easily secured, and GPS and other sensors can be added later.

On a 2S battery, the T1 Ranger behaves more calmly and is suitable for first flights and slower approaches to landing. A 3S battery provides higher speed and longer climbs at full throttle but requires a longer landing strip and more precise control. A typical 3S 2200–2600mAh battery allows for approximately 10–15 minutes of flight during normal cruising, and with economical flying, up to around 20 minutes can be achieved.

The model is in PNP configuration - included in the package are motors, ESCs, and servos. You need to add an RC receiver and potentially FPV equipment, flight controller, and GPS module. Motors and servos are pre-installed in the wings; other electronics are not installed.
