Happymodel Mobula 8 is a small Tinywhoop with DJI O4 digital video transmission, providing fullHD quality and allowing recording directly onboard in up to 4K resolution. Thanks to the ducted propellers and low weight (50 g without battery), flying it is relatively safe.
Power is provided by EX1103 11000Kv motors combined with tri-blade Gemfan 2023 propellers and a 2S battery. Flight control is handled by the Happymodel CrazyF405 HD AIO board, which integrates a flight controller with an F405 processor, BMI270 gyro, barometer for altitude measurement, 8MB memory for blackbox, 12A ESCs with Bluejay firmware, voltage and current sensor, and an integrated UART ELRS receiver on 2.4GHz with a wire antenna.
Recommended batteries are 2S with 450–650mAh capacity and an XT30 connector. Battery compartment size is 17 × 13 mm.
Important notice: The DJI O4 camera uses a new generation of gyroscopes that are more sensitive to vibrations. This may affect the proper function of RockSteady and Gyroflow stabilization.
