Happymodel CruxF405HD is an all-in-one board with ESCs, flight controller and receiver. The board is based on the ICM42688P gyro supporting a refresh rate of up to 8KHz and the F405 processor. The board supports 3-4S Lipo batteries and current up to 20A. The ESCs use Bluejay firmware. It is mainly suitable for building lightweight 2-3" quads. The board includes a BMP280 barometer for altitude measurement, 8MB memory for blackbox and a current sensor. The board also has an integrated connector for connecting digital video transmission systems.
A major advantage of the board is the integrated ELRS receiver, which is connected via UART. Classic integrated receivers are connected via the SPI bus and their firmware is part of Betaflight. The UART receiver is a fully-fledged classic Happymodel EP1 receiver, which can be updated or configured separately via Wifi. The ELRS receiver is connected to UART2. By disconnecting the pins, the ELRS receiver can be disabled and the UART used to connect another device. The antenna is connected to the ELRS receiver via an IPEX connector.
