GEPRC Vapor-D5 is a 5" freestyle drone that comes without video transmission. It is designed for the digital image transmission system DJI O4 Pro. The drone is supplied in PNP version; the DJI O4 Pro, RC receiver, and GPS module are not included and must be added from your own stock.
Vapor D5 is in a Deadcat configuration, with the front arms shifted further back and outward. This keeps distracting propeller edges out of the camera view, which is especially important if you use the DJI O4 camera for filming as well. The frame uses 5mm thick arms. The arms are mounted with two screws, so their replacement in case of damage is very easy. The FPV camera is protected by aluminum side plates. The camera mount itself uses a rubber insert that helps absorb vibrations. The drone is equipped with plastic side plates that protect the electronics from dirt.
Vapor-D5 is equipped with a GEP-F722-HD V2 flight controller featuring an F722 processor, ICM42688-P gyro, BMP280 barometer for altitude measurement, and 16MB of blackbox memory. The board is paired with 60A ESCs running BlHeli_S firmware. Propulsion is provided by GEPRC SpeedX2 2407E 1960Kv motors combined with Gemfan 5136 propellers.
Recommended batteries are 6S with a capacity of 1300-1800mAh with an XT60 connector
Important notice: The DJI O4 camera uses a new generation of gyros that are more sensitive to vibration. This may affect the proper functioning of RockSteady and Gyroflow stabilization.
