GEPRC Vapor-D5 is a 5" freestyle drone that is supplied without video transmission. It is designed for the digital image transmission DJI O4 Pro. The drone is supplied in PNP version, the package does not include DJI O4 Pro, RC receiver or GPS module, which must be added from your own stock.
Vapor D5 is in a Deadcat configuration, where the front arms are shifted further back and to the sides. This means the distracting propeller edges are not visible in the camera, which is especially important if you use the DJI O4 camera for filming as well. The frame uses 5mm thick arms. The arms are mounted with two screws, making replacement in case of damage very easy. The FPV camera is protected by aluminum side plates. The camera mounting itself is solved via a rubber insert that helps absorb vibrations. The drone is equipped with plastic side plates that protect the electronics from dirt.
Vapor-D5 is equipped with the GEP-F722-HD V2 flight controller with an F722 processor, ICM42688-P gyro, BMP280 barometer for altitude measurement and 16MB memory for blackbox. The board is complemented by 60A ESCs with BlHeli_S firmware. Power is provided by GEPRC SpeedX2 2207E 1960Kv motors in combination with Gemfan 5136 propellers.
Recommended batteries are 6S with a capacity of 1300-1800mAh with XT60 connector
Important notice: The DJI O4 camera uses a new generation of gyroscopes that are more sensitive to vibrations. This may affect the proper function of RockSteady and Gyroflow stabilization.
