Gemfan Vortex 10x8 are two-blade electric propellers designed primarily for RC airplane models and electric unmanned aircraft. They combine a 10" diameter with an 8" pitch, providing a good compromise between thrust during acceleration and cruising speed. The propellers are made of glass fiber-reinforced nylon, which is tough and resistant to bending. The blade profile was designed using CFD simulations, the leading edge features a matte finish that reduces airflow separation at high RPMs, and the thin blade tips reduce tip vortices and noise. Each propeller undergoes dynamic balancing, ensuring low-vibration operation. The hub with an anti-slip texture stays secure on the prop adapter and does not loosen during operation.
The center hole measures 6,35mm (1/4"), and the manufacturer includes adapter rings for 3, 3,17, 4, 5, 6 and 8mm shafts. In the manufacturer's static test with a 3214 800Kv motor at 22,2V, the propeller achieved up to 3308g of thrust at a current draw of approximately 69A.
The propellers are supplied in packs of 2pcs, in the version according to the selected variant.
