FNIRSI IPS3608 is a digitally controlled laboratory power supply with outputs of 0-36V and 0-8A, suitable for powering DC chargers, bringing electronics back to life, and workshop testing. It is powered directly from 100-240V mains, so it does not need any external adapter. Maximum power is 285W, which is enough even for more powerful model chargers. Voltage is set in 0,01V steps and current in 0,001A steps using buttons or a rotary encoder. The power supply operates in both constant voltage and constant current modes, making it suitable as a current-limited supply when first powering up new electronics.
Measured values are shown on a 2,8" color display, which can be tilted according to the height of the workbench. Three views are available: a basic overview with power and device temperature, a voltage and current graph with max and min readings, and the status of the USB outputs. The built-in meter continuously calculates consumed capacity, energy, and operating time. The power supply stores 6 presets, each saving voltage, current, and protection limits — overvoltage, overcurrent, power, and temperature. Independently of presets, it also monitors undervoltage, short circuit, and reverse polarity.
In addition to the main 4mm banana plugs, the front panel also has USB-A and USB-C outputs with support for fast-charging protocols PD 3.0, QC 2.0/3.0, Huawei FCP/SCP a AFC, which are handy for charging a transmitter, FPV goggles, or a phone. The rear USB-C is used to connect to a computer and for firmware updates — via PC software, the power supply can be controlled, curves can be recorded, and preset sequences can be run.
