Fnirsi DPS-150 is a compact laboratory power supply with 0-30V and 0-5A output at a maximum power of 150W. It is powered via USB-C from a PD/QC charger or power bank, or via a coaxial DC connector from any 5-32V adapter. When powered from a power bank, it works as a fully portable and galvanically isolated power supply without ground loops, making it suitable for both the workbench and field service interventions.
The output operates in both constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) modes. Voltage is set in 10mV steps, current in 1mA steps; setting accuracy is ≤0.1%±5mV for voltage and ≤0.1%±3mA for current. Measured values are displayed on a 2.8" IPS display (320x240) that tilts by 90°, making the power supply easy to read from different angles. In addition to voltage, current, and power, it also shows statistics for delivered capacity (Ah) and energy (Wh) over time, which is useful e.g. when testing current draw. Up to 6 preset pairs of voltage and current can be stored in memory. Safety is ensured by a set of protections — overvoltage, overcurrent, undervoltage, overpower, and overtemperature, supplemented by input and output reverse-polarity protection and short-circuit protection. Efficiency at full load reaches 96.3%. The output is brought out to 4mm banana sockets; however, their spacing does not match the standard 19mm, so dual banana adapters cannot be plugged in directly.
Via Micro USB, the power supply connects to PC software, which records voltage and current waveforms, controls the output from a computer, and adds advanced functions: sequential output according to a user program and automatic voltage or current sweep with adjustable step and delay. The power supply firmware can be updated.
Important notice: The power supply works as a step-down converter — output voltage is always lower than input voltage. Via USB-C with PD 3.0 it provides a maximum of 20V; for the full 30V output, a 32V DC input is required. Both power inputs must not be connected simultaneously.
