Fnirsi 2C53P 3-in-1 Digital Oscilloscope, Multimeter and Signal Generator

FNIRSI 2C53P is a compact 3-in-1 measuring device suitable for diagnostics, repairs, and electronics development. In one body it combines a dual-channel oscilloscope, multimeter, and signal generator, so it can display waveforms, measure common electrical values, and generate a test signal without needing to carry three separate instruments. The oscilloscope section is built on FPGA + MCU + ADC architecture and is supplemented by a built-in high-voltage protection module. Operation is based on a large 4.3" touchscreen, making switching between functions quick even in the field.

The oscilloscope samples at 250MSa/s on both channels and offers an analog bandwidth of 50MHz. The time base is adjustable from 10ns to 10s per division, vertical sensitivity from 10mV to 10V per division at 8-bit vertical resolution, and input impedance is 1MΩ. Memory depth reaches up to 64kB, allowing a longer section of the waveform to be captured without losing detail. The high-voltage protection increases the maximum measured voltage to ±400V. For signal capture, Auto, Normal, and Single trigger modes are available, with rising or falling edge selection and trigger level adjustable over a range of eight divisions in both directions. The device supports AC and DC coupling, a switchable 20MHz bandwidth limit to suppress high-frequency noise, and Y-T, X-Y, or roll display. Additional features include eight mathematical operations, FFT analysis, X1-X2 and Y1-Y2 cursor measurements, 1s or infinite persistence, and automatic parameter evaluation, namely period, frequency, Vpp, maximum, minimum, RMS and average values, amplitude, duty cycle, and pulse width. Screenshots are saved in BMP format to the internal 13MB memory, from where they can be copied to a computer like from a standard flash drive.

The integrated 4½-digit multimeter (19999 counts) measures DC and AC voltage and current, resistance, capacitance, and temperature, and includes diode test and continuity buzzer. In auto mode, it automatically detects whether the input is voltage or resistance and switches to the corresponding range. Voltage can be measured up to 1000V DC and 750V AC, current up to 9.999A in both directions, resistance up to 19.999MΩ, and capacitance up to 99.99mF; the temperature range is from -55 to 1300°C. Current is measured through two separate jacks, mA for small currents and 10A for large ones; exceeding 1A on the mA input or 10A on the 10A input will blow the fuse. Measured values can be saved in up to five sets and displayed in a table with minimum and maximum values, as well as as a curve showing the measured value over time. The temperature probe is not included.

The third part of the device is a single-channel DDS signal generator with frequency up to 10MHz for sine wave output and up to 5MHz for other waveforms, with 1Hz step and amplitude adjustable from 0.1 to 3.0V. It offers 12 waveform types — sine, square, sawtooth, half-wave, full-wave, positive and negative step, DC signal, exponential rise and decay, multitone, and sync pulse — and for square waves it allows duty cycle adjustment in the 0-100% range. Frequency, amplitude, and duty cycle are entered numerically via keypad or slider.

The display has a resolution of 480x272, a tempered glass surface, and is complemented by four physical buttons for menu, run/pause, auto measurement, and function switching. Brightness, volume, yellow or blue theme, a startup function, and automatic power-off can be set; the menu is available in eight languages including English and German. Power is supplied by a built-in 4000mAh lithium battery with up to 4 hours of runtime, and charging is via USB-C (5V/2A). The body, measuring 145x98x35 mm and weighing 360g, fits into a tool bag. Firmware is updated by copying a file to the device connected to a computer.

Important notice: The maximum input voltage of the oscilloscope BNC connector is 400V. When measuring with both channels simultaneously, the ground clips of both probes must be at the same potential — the probe ground is electrically connected to the device ground, and connecting to different potentials will cause a short circuit. For charging, we recommend using a separate charger; powering it from the USB port of the device being measured may short the ground paths on the motherboard.
