FNIRSI 1014D Plus is a desktop dual-channel oscilloscope with a built-in DDS signal generator, suitable for a hobby workshop, teaching, and general electronics repairs. Compared with the standard 1014D version, the Plus package additionally includes a P4100 high-voltage probe with 100X attenuation for measuring voltages up to 1000V. Two devices in one save space on the workbench. The oscilloscope displays the signal waveform, and the generator also serves as a test signal source without the need to connect additional equipment.
The oscilloscope operates with a sampling rate of 1GSa/s and an analog bandwidth of 100MHz on both channels; memory depth is 240Kbit. Vertical sensitivity is adjustable from 50mV to 500V per division, and the time base from 10ns to 50s per division. Slow ranges combined with Roll mode make it possible to observe gradual level changes as well. The inputs have 1MΩ impedance, AC/DC coupling, and a built-in high-voltage protection module that can withstand up to 400V of continuous voltage — an accidentally un-switched probe will not end up with a burned input stage. Triggering works in Auto, Normal, and Single modes with rising or falling edge selection; the AUTO button with adaptive trigger (25/50/75 %) sets the waveform display with one press. Cursor measurements are available, 12 automatically measured parameters (Vpp, Vrms, frequency, duty cycle, and others), X-Y mode for Lissajous figures, and FFT for estimating the harmonic components of the signal.
The built-in DDS generator offers 14 standard waveform shapes with a fixed 2.5Vpp amplitude and adjustable duty cycle — sine up to 10MHz, other shapes up to 2MHz, all with 1Hz steps. An interesting feature is the "chopping" output: the oscilloscope captures a portion of the measured waveform and the generator then plays it back as its own signal (up to 1MHz), with up to 1000 such waveforms storable.
Measured data are stored in the built-in 1GB memory — it can hold up to 1000 screenshots and 1000 waveform data sets. The waveform manager supports thumbnail browsing, zooming, and deletion directly on the device, and after connecting to a computer via USB, the oscilloscope appears as a flash drive, so screenshots can be downloaded without installing additional software. Everything is displayed on a 7" color TFT LCD with 800x480 resolution.
Power is supplied by an external 5V/2A adapter (included in the package); the device also works from a power bank, so it can be used away from a power outlet. It does not have a built-in battery. We recommend powering it exclusively with the included adapter or a separate power bank — powering it from the USB of the tested device may cause a short circuit through the ground loop. Dimensions are 310x145x70 mm, weight approx. 1.5kg, and fold-out feet are used to tilt it on the desk.
The standard probes are switchable 1X/10X — in 1X position they have a 5MHz bandwidth and measure up to 40V; for higher frequencies and voltages up to 400V, it is necessary to switch to 10X. The included P4100 probe expands the range up to 1000V and is suitable e.g. for switched-mode power supplies or converters.
Important notice: When using both channels at the same time, the probe ground clips must be connected to the same potential, otherwise there is a risk of damaging the oscilloscope. Never apply voltage higher than 400V to the BNC input.
