Fnirsi DMC-100 Clamp Multimeter

Fnirsi DMC-100 is a clamp multimeter with 10000-count resolution and true RMS (True RMS) measurement, suitable for diagnostics of electrical installations, vehicles and model power circuits. The clamps with a 25mm jaw opening measure DC and AC current up to 600A without disconnecting the circuit; simply clamp around a single wire. Thanks to DC current measurement, it can also be used to check battery and charger current draw or a car's starting current. Values are displayed on a colour 2" TFT display with 240x320 resolution.

Three modes are available: standard measurement, waveform display and power measurement. In waveform mode, a graph of the value over time is displayed, making current spikes clearly visible. Before measuring DC current, the reading must be zeroed by briefly pressing the power button; otherwise, the measurement will not be accurate. For low currents, accuracy can be increased by passing the wire through the jaws several times. The display then shows the corresponding multiple of the actual current.

With the included test leads, the multimeter works as a fully featured instrument. It measures DC voltage up to 999,9V and AC voltage up to 750V, as well as resistance, capacitance and frequency up to 9,999MHz, and supports diode and continuity testing. With the included temperature probe, it measures temperatures from -55 to 1300°C with °C/°F switching. It also features non-contact voltage detection („NCV“) and phase and neutral wire identification. Ranges are selected manually using buttons. Additional functions include value hold (HOLD), maximum and minimum display, zeroing, storage of up to 30 sets of measured data, a flashlight and display brightness adjustable in 10 levels.

It is powered by a built-in 3,7V/1500mAh lithium battery charged via USB-C (5V/1A). The same port is also used for firmware updates. Automatic shutdown can be set to 5, 15 or 30 minutes, or disabled completely. The menu is available in English and Chinese. The clamp multimeter measures 193x74x32 mm and weighs 194g.
