ND filters attenuate the amount of light that hits the camera chip. This increases exposure time and causes a slight blurring of the edges of the video at higher speeds. This makes the video look smoother and more natural. The value of the ND filter should be selected according to the light intensity.
The second version of ND filters is narrower (20.6mm) and fits into the drone frames between the aluminum sidewalls.
