Flywoo DJI O4 Wide Pro MP66

Flywoo DJI O4 Wide Pro was created through a collaboration between Flywoo and Runcam. It is an DJI O4 (lite) unit with a wider DJI camera lens, giving it a larger 159° FOV. Included are plastic rear camera covers that serve as a mounting adapter. The Pro version adds an aluminum heatsink, a longer 150mm coaxial cable, and a u.FL LHCP antenna. The unit is therefore also suitable for 5" freestyle drones as a more affordable alternative to the standard DJI O4 Pro unit. Due to the change in FOV, DJI Rocksteady may not always work correctly; Gyroflow stabilization is fully functional.

DJI O4 is a top-tier digital video transmission system. The set consists of a camera, a transmitter module, and one antenna. DJI O4 offers image transmission in 1080p at 100 fps with a data rate of up to 60 Mbps. The unit allows video recording directly on the drone in up to 4K resolution and 60 fps. Video is saved to the internal 23 GB memory. Image stabilization is possible instantly using DJI Rocksteady or later using Gyroflow. For racing pilots, Racemode is available with latency as low as 20 ms. The transmission supports Canvas Mode for classic OSD from the flight controller. Power can be supplied from a 2–3S LiPo battery (3.7–13.2 V). The transmitter module has M2 mounting holes with a spacing of 25.5 × 25.5 mm.

DJI O4 is intended for use with DJI Goggles 3 or DJI Goggles N3 and DJI Controller 3.

DJI O4 can also be used with DJI Goggles 2 or DJI Integra and DJI Controller 2. In that case, however, Racemode is not available and the maximum bitrate is limited to 50 Mbps.

DJI O4 Wide Air Unit is standardly supplied with the I469D gyroscope, which may cause image vibration on some frames when stabilization is used. Replacing it with the MP66 gyro solves this problem without affecting functionality, but MP66 chips are already discontinued and stock is limited. Replacement with MP66 is performed only by Flywoo technicians. Minor marks may be visible on the unit after service.
