Flywoo O4 Air Unit CNC heatsink kit

Flywoo O4 Air Unit CNC heatsink kit is an aluminum passive heatsink for the DJI O4 Air Unit transmission module. It consists of two machined parts that clamp the unit from the top and bottom and transfer heat from the board to the heatsink. Both parts are made of aerospace-grade 6061 aluminum, the complete assembly measures 29x29x10 mm and weighs 5.1 g. In addition to cooling, it also provides mechanical protection for the fragile unit in the event of an impact.

The DJI O4 Air Unit does not come with a heatsink from the factory and heats up very quickly without airflow. After exceeding the temperature limit, the unit first displays a warning and stops recording, then reduces the bitrate and finally shuts down — typically while sitting on the ground during pre-flight preparation.

The bottom part has a pair of holes in each corner — with both 20x20 mm and 25.5x25.5 mm spacing, so the heatsink also functions as a mounting adapter between the two standards. Cutouts in the top part leave the u.FL antenna connector, USB-C port, connector and coaxial cable exit unobstructed; the correct orientation is indicated by the “Towards USB-C” label on the bottom part. It is installed using the included thermal paste.

The heatsink is designed for the DJI O4 Air Unit. It is not intended for the larger DJI O4 Air Unit Pro, which has its own heatsink.

The air unit and camera are not included.
