Flywoo 5V/12V 2A BEC V2.0

Flywoo 5V/12V 2A BEC V2.0 is a small switching step-down BEC with an input voltage of 2-6S and a current rating of 2A. The output voltage 5V or 12V is selected by bridging pads on the board (default is 5V). For 5V output, an input of 2-6S is sufficient; for 12V output, the input voltage must be in the 3-6S range. It is suitable for powering LED strips, cameras, video transmitters, or servos.

The BEC has a pad marked COM. When the COM pad is connected to 5V, the BEC turns on. If it is not connected or is connected to ground, the BEC is off. This allows the BEC to be controlled for example via the flight controller. The control wire is connected to the LED pad of the flight controller, the PINIO function is assigned in Betaflight, and the output is then controlled by any AUX switch (USER1 mode). When powering directly from a 6S battery, we recommend adding a capacitor; when powering from the flight controller or regulator, a capacitor is not needed.
