FlyingRC H7D Pro H743 is a powerful flight controller for 4-12" drones powered by 3-6S LiPo batteries. This board is aimed at heavier freestyle and long-range builds that require a powerful processor.
The flight controller is based on the STM32H743VIT6 processor clocked at 480MHz with 2MB Flash memory and 1MB RAM, combined with a pair of ICM-42688-P gyroscopes. The dual gyroscopes improve measurement accuracy and stability, which is especially noticeable with ArduPilot firmware. Altitude measurement is handled by the DPS310 barometer. The board is equipped with I2C and CAN buses for connecting additional sensors. Analog video is handled by the OSD chip AT7465E. A 6-pin connector is prepared for digital video transmitters. Blackbox data is written to a microSD card in the integrated slot, so recording capacity is not limited by the board memory. There are 7 UARTs and 13 PWM outputs—twelve for motors and servos and one for a WS2812 LED strip. The twelve motor outputs allow connection of two 4-in-1 ESCs and building an eight-motor X8 configuration. Peripheral power is provided by 5V/3A and 9V/3A BECs, while the 9V rail for the video transmitter can be switched on and off via PINIO1 (User1 in Betaflight)—the video transmitter does not overheat when setting up on the bench. An SBUS receiver can be connected to any RX pad, because the H7 processor has a built-in inverter.
The board supports Betaflight, iNav, ArduPilot and PX4 and comes from the factory with Betaflight. The firmware target is FLRC H7D. FlyingRC compiles the firmware itself and it is not part of public lists; it is downloaded from the manufacturer's website.
The flight controller has a mounting pattern of 30,5x30,5mm with mounting hole M4 (M3 with softmount). It connects to the ESC with an 8-pin SH1.0 cable.
