FlyingRC Flagship Stack H7D Pro + 75A ESC is a combination of a flight controller and 4-in-1 ESC suitable for 4-12" drones powered by 3-6S LiPo batteries. The set is aimed at heavier freestyle and long-range builds where a powerful processor and high current headroom are needed.
The flight controller is built around the STM32H743VIT6 processor clocked at 480MHz with 2MB Flash memory and 1MB RAM, combined with a pair of ICM-42688-P gyroscopes. The dual gyroscopes improve measurement accuracy and stability, which is especially noticeable with ArduPilot firmware. Altitude measurement is handled by the DPS310 barometer. The board is equipped with I2C and CAN buses for connecting additional sensors. Analog video is processed by the OSD chip AT7465E. A 6-pin connector is provided for digital video transmitters, and a DJI cable is included in the package. Blackbox is recorded to a microSD card in the integrated slot, so recording capacity is not limited by the board's memory. There are 7 UARTs and 13 PWM outputs — twelve for motors and servos and one for a WS2812 LED strip. The twelve motor outputs allow you to connect two 4-in-1 ESCs and build an eight-motor X8 configuration. Peripheral power is provided by 5V/3A and 9V/3A BECs, with the 9V rail for the video transmitter being switchable on and off via PINIO1 (User1 in Betaflight) — this keeps the video transmitter from overheating while bench setup is in progress. An SBUS receiver can be connected to any RX pad, because the H7 processor has a built-in inverter.
The board supports Betaflight, iNav and ArduPilot firmware and comes with Betaflight preinstalled. The firmware target is FLRC H7D. The firmware is compiled by FlyingRC itself and is not part of Betaflight's public target list; it is downloaded from the manufacturer's website. PX4 firmware is not supported.
The ESC handles a continuous current of 75A per channel. It is fitted with gold-plated Infineon IRF7480 MOSFETs with an on-state resistance of just 0.95mΩ, whose metal package is in direct contact with the chip, allowing heat to be dissipated efficiently. The PCB has 10 layers with 2oz copper and four surface-soldered gold-plated copper strips that help conduct current and reduce resistance and heat generation. Control is handled by a 32-bit QF32F4AK8U7 processor at 120MHz with an integrated ID6288 driver. The ESC uses AM32 firmware, supports DShot150/300/600, OneShot and PWM, and handles sine-start with high torque at low RPM. It includes a current sensor with scale 100. The included 680uF/35V capacitor and the power cable with XT60 connector must be soldered to the ESC.
Both boards have a mounting pattern of 30,5x30,5mm with a mounting hole of M4 (M3 with soft mount). They are connected with an 8-pin SH1.0 cable.
