FlyingRC AM32 ESC 75A V2.5 with BEC is a powerful standalone controller for a single motor, suitable for large aircraft models, long-range drones and ground RC models. The controller supports power from 2-6S LiPo batteries and handles a continuous current of 75A. With dimensions of 38x19x7.4mm and a weight of 8g, it fits even into cramped fuselages.

Its performance is based on gold-plated Infineon IRF7480 MOSFETs with an on-state resistance of just 0.95mΩ, whose metal case is in direct contact with the chip, so heat is transferred straight to the heatsink. The power section is fitted with square SMD copper bars, which compared to the previous generation with round bars reduce the ESC resistance by 60%. The PCB has resin-filled vias, via-in-pad technology and immersion gold surface finish. The included aluminum heatsink is glued directly to the MOSFETs with thermal paste and adhesive (not included), and the included capacitors must be soldered to the power and BEC pads.

The controller uses AM32 firmware, which supports DShot150/300/600, OneShot and PWM protocols and RPM telemetry. Sine startup together with rotor lock protection provides high torque at low RPM, which will be especially appreciated by crawler and scale model builders. Voltage spikes are suppressed by an integrated TVS diode. Setup and firmware flashing are done via a computer using the offline AM32 configurator; a USB adapter, programmer or flight controller is required to connect to a PC. In the settings, the motor KV is entered with a deviation of up to 30% from the actual value. The controller also includes a BEC 5V/4A for powering the receiver and servos; by bridging the solder pad, the output can be switched to 7.4V.

Important notice: The heatsink must be attached before first use of the ESC. The ESC must not be wrapped in heat shrink, as this would prevent heat dissipation.

Important notice: The web version of the configurator must not be used for setup; according to the manufacturer, flashing the firmware via the browser may damage the ESC processor.
