FlyingRC Advanced Stack H7D Pro + 45A ESC is a combination of a flight controller and 4-in-1 ESC suitable for 4-6" drones powered by 3-6S LiPo batteries. Compared with the 75A ESC version, it is a more affordable setup for builds with lower current draw, while keeping the same powerful flight controller.
The flight controller is based on the STM32H743VIT6 processor clocked at 480MHz with 2MB Flash and 1MB RAM, combined with dual ICM-42688-P gyroscopes. The dual gyroscopes improve measurement accuracy and stability, which is especially noticeable with ArduPilot firmware. Altitude measurement is handled by the DPS310 barometer. The board is equipped with I2C and CAN buses for connecting additional sensors. Analog video is handled by the OSD chip AT7465E. A 6-pin connector is ready for digital video transmitters. Blackbox data is written to a microSD card in the integrated slot, so recording capacity is not limited by the board's memory. There are 7 UARTs and 13 PWM outputs—twelve for motors and servos and one for a WS2812 LED strip. Twelve motor outputs allow connection of two 4-in-1 ESCs and building an eight-motor X8 configuration. Peripheral power is provided by 5V/3A and 9V/3A BECs, while the 9V line for the video transmitter can be switched on and off via PINIO1 (User1 in Betaflight)—so the video transmitter does not overheat while setting up on the bench. An SBUS receiver can be connected to any RX pad, because the H7 processor has a built-in inverter.
The board supports Betaflight, iNav, ArduPilot and PX4 firmware and comes from the factory with Betaflight. The firmware target is FLRC H7D. FlyingRC compiles the firmware itself and it is not part of the public lists; it is downloaded from the manufacturer's website.
The ESC handles a continuous current of 45A per channel. The ESC is equipped with HYG011N04 MOSFETs with an on-state resistance of only 1.0mΩ in a DFN 5x6 package. The PCB has 6 layers with 2oz copper and two surface-soldered gold-plated copper strips that help carry current and reduce resistance and heat. Control is handled by a 32-bit QF32F4AK8U7 processor at 120MHz with an integrated ID6288 driver. The ESC uses AM32 firmware, supports DShot150/300/600, OneShot and PWM, and can handle sinusoidal startup with high torque at low RPM. It includes a current sensor with scale 100 and a telemetry TX pad. The included 680uF/35V capacitor and the power cable with XT60 connector must be soldered to the ESC.
Both the flight controller and ESC have a mounting pattern of 30,5x30,5mm with M4 mounting holes (M3 with softmount). They are connected via an 8-pin SH1.0 cable.
