Flyfish Volador VX3 is a precisely crafted freestyle frame for 3" propellers. The frame is in the Squashed X configuration. Thanks to the X layout, the front and rear arms are identical. A good symmetrical layout aids in favorable flight characteristics. The frame can be equipped with a DJI O4 Pro unit, analog transmission, and Walksnail Avatar system.
The frame is cut from high-quality carbon T700, which has better strength than the commonly used carbon (T300). The arms are cut from 3.5mm thick carbon. This not only increases the resistance to falls but also, due to high strength, reduces the transfer of vibrations from the motors to the flight controller. The frame is very well made. The edges of the frame are beveled, so there is no risk of cutting the cable on a sharp edge. The camera is protected by a metal holder made from a durable aluminum alloy 7075, which is commonly used in drones for making better motors. The camera itself is held in a silicone insert that absorbs vibrations and contributes to better video quality. The frame includes a variety of 3D printed parts, including arm guards, GoPro camera mounts, or antennas. The top plate has a silicone pad that increases friction between the frame and the battery and minimizes the chance of the battery slipping out during a fall.
The frame has M2 mounting holes for stacks 20x20mm and 25.5x25.5mm. There is space for a second stack at the back of the frame. The mounting holes are 20x20mm and 25.5x25.5mm M2.
The frame is available in black.
