Flycolor X-Cross 2 50A is a powerful standalone ESC for one motor, suitable for racing and freestyle drones with individual ESCs on the arms. The ESC supports 3-6S LiPo batteries and handles continuous current up to 50A.
This is a new generation of the X-Cross series. It is based on a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 processor clocked at up to 150MHz, which according to the manufacturer is 57% more powerful than the processor of the previous generation. An output PWM frequency of up to 128kHz ensures smoother motor operation at higher RPMs. The ESC measures 37x14,5x6mm and weighs 10,2g. Power and signal wires are factory-soldered, while the motor connects to solder pads.
The ESC uses BLHeli_32 firmware, supporting telemetry and all variants of DShot and ProShot protocols. It also supports Multishot, Oneshot125, Oneshot42, and standard PWM (1-2ms) protocols. The input signal type is detected automatically after power-up. The ESC features an integrated current sensor and several protections with adjustable parameters. Configuration is done via a computer using a configurator; a USB adapter or flight controller is required for PC connection. The ESC is not equipped with a BEC.
